Indistinguishable from Evil

The world sure seems messed up these days. Is it truly incompetence or just plain evil? Lets speculate

As I write this there are terrible fires raging all through the Palisades and Malibu just north of LA, the British Parliament just voted against investigating the widespread gang-rape of underage girls by Pakistani men, and George Soros was just awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Wait, whats this about George Soros? Is he evil?

George Soros has funneled significant financial resources into local DA elections, electing prosecutors who simply don’t prosecute crime, for example Alvin Bragg in New York City, Kim Foxx in Chicago, and George Gascon in Los Angeles. Alvin Bragg was elected to DA of NYC in 2021, since then crime rates have skyrocketed. Meanwhile, individual citizens who would intervene in street crime like Daniel Penny narrowly escape criminal prosecution for defending the innocent to the extent that people are afraid to do good on their own streets. And so, people just casually walk by and do nothing to intervene as a woman burns alive on the Subway (including a police officer).

Nowhere has Soros’s hand of influence been more evident than in San Francisco, where he supported Chelsea Boudin’s election to DA who then pursued a vehement anti-crime prosecution approach. The result? More crime, leading to widespread shop closures.

George Soros is also one of the worlds foremost philanthropists having donated more than $32 billion dollars, so, it seems perhaps reasonable that he’d be awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom. But, the causes he’s donated to have somehow seemed to result in an intentional degradation of moral fabric, driving up crime rates in major cities, leading to the closure of businesses and preventable deaths. But surely there’s other good things he’s done right, like donating billions to environmentalism activist groups?

Now lets look at these LA fires. Why are they so bad? Well, there’s a few things:

• LA Mayor Karen Bass cut the Fire Department budget by $17.5 million months before and is currently attending a photo-op vacation in Ghana for the inauguration of their new President

• Supplies of water have been limited to the city because Governor Gavin Newsom thought it was important to preserve Delta smelt, a fish, meaning fire hydrants didn’t provide any water to firefighting crews. Fires in SoCal are nothing new and they haven’t affected the water supply in the past.

• There’s an abundance of dry brush, which normally can be regularly burned in controlled fires as part of healthy forest maintenance, however environmentalist groups have repeatedly sued or threatened to sue Forest Services for performing controlled burns in a timely manner (normally the environmental review process itself takes 3.5 years).

Now, whats the LA Fire Chief up to in all this? Her bio describes her priorities as “creating, supporting, and promoting a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and equity while striving to meet and exceed the expectations of the communities.” It’s a feel good narrative that’s common these days where we all work hard to make society more inclusive by intentionally equalizing the proportion of men, women, people of color, gay and trans people, across every segment of society, at all times.

A culture of inclusivity and cultural openness has done wonders for the UK, which is in the process of now publicly revealing something that has been known for a long time among police officers - the widespread rape of underage women by Pakistani gangs of men. The “rape gangs” as they’re being called.

Why hasn’t this been investigated before? Because the perpetrators are Muslim Pakistani’s and the victims are white Christians and to go near that at all is to be labeled as “Islamaphobic” - in fact speaking out against the very obvious racial tensions during the UK race riots last summer was enough to land a person in jail, even for social media comments. It’s illegal to be racist in the UK online, even if its just one particular ethnicity that is raping all the young white women.

Things are cheerful and sunny these days. Let’s review a few more snippets about the modern world:

• We effectively banned nuclear power in the 1970’s as “too dangerous” despite that its the least resource intensive and lowest total CO2 emitting power source on the planet, and so continued chugging along with hydrocarbons powering the grid. Germany went for the feel-good solar and wind farm solution while France stuck to nuclear and today, French emissions 10x lower than Germany’s on a kg CO2 per kWh

• Phthalate plastics abound in basically all of our foods, which are known to interfere with endocrine health, childhood development, increase the risk of certain cancers, exacerbate asthma and allergies, cause neurological effects, and disrupt the immune system.

• A two-year investigation by the US House of Representatives concludes that COVID-19 originated as a lab leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which was engaged in gain-of-function research on coronavirus, while an emerging body of evidence shows that mRNA vaccines that induce the body to produce additional spike proteins are in fact extremely dangerous as the spike protein by itself is pathogenic . Either statement - that the virus originated in a lab, or that the mRNA vaccines were unhealthy, were grounds for being fired from public service or censored online, yet we still mandated giving full mRNA vaccine doses to 5 year-old children despite 85% of mortality being among people older than the age of 65.

Meanwhile mathematics and reading scores are dropping rapidly across OECD countries, teenage depression is skyrocketing, inflation has eroded the dollar tremendously in the last few years alone, housing is increasingly unaffordable entirely because cities make it difficult to build (see Austin, TX for the counter-example), the fertility rate is falling in all developed countries, people are spending less time with friends and more time inside, etc etc… the list is endless.

At some point you have to stop and ask yourself a very simple question: is humanity truly this incompetent at all scales and levels of self-governance, is the entire system captured by ‘perverse incentives’ and ‘corruption and grift,’ and if so how did we even make it this far in the first place? In the first half of the 1900’s we somehow built cathedral-like civic monuments like city halls, giant suspension bridges, dams, interstate highways systems, underground trains, public utilities, all at a far lesser developed level of technology, all without the aid of things like CAD, computers, electronic communications. In essence, with all the tools of the modern world and miracles won by science and technology, we are hopelessly destroying ourselves and to put it bluntly Western Civilization is Failing Us, or rather, we are failing to uphold the ideals of The West.

The Thought Experiment

The experiment is simple: suppose for a second that instead of the entire western world suddenly becoming completely incompetent at self-management and governance in the last 60 years, despite all our wondrous advancements in science and technology that should be massive productivity boosters - instead of all that, suppose a very simply thing instead.

A very tiny minority of people with large amounts of power are in fact completely fucking pure evil.

Let’s suppose they just didn’t have humanity’s best interests at heart, rather they liked sitting on top of a vast power structure whose sole purpose was to extract the vital forces of humanity for their own benefit. Perhaps they controlled banking, media, politics, etc, as all good conspiracy theorists claim, and the advent of technology and science instead of liberating the human spirit and achieving true material and energy abundance, instead all that technology and science was used to systematically undermine the health, wealth, mind, body, and spirit of the common man, to engineer conditions of privation and fear, to set us against each other by institutionalizing racism in the name of diversity, stifle energy and industry in the name of the environment while actually making the environment worse, and to keep us simply treading water economically and distracted with mindless infotainment and propaganda that never told the true story or else just a heavily biased version of it.

What would their game plan look like? They’d poison the food, erode education systems, destroy national borders, defund police and fire departments, forestall infrastructure developments, export critical manufacturing capacity, develop bioweapons in secret then lie about it when they escape on the public, systematically harass and de-platform people who spoke truth to power by coercing social media companies. We’d see the defense industry a bloated lethargic shadow of its former self inequipped to deal with true geopolitical rivals.

You see where I’m going with this. In short, in a hypothetical thought experiment in which “a cabal of evil people actually wants to destroy the West or keep it stagnant to maintain power over an enslaved population” is indistinguishable from our current reality. The systemic level of incompetence, mismanagement, empty virtue signaling, rampant abuse and corruption, outright criminal behavior, “blanket pardons going back 11 years” for family members, and on and on - its ridiculous. We live in a farce of a developed world, a pale shadow of what Western civilization once stood for and championed.

Whether there is indeed such an ‘evil deep state’ is for the conspiracy theorists to sort out. The point I’m making is: if you assumed such a thing existed, it would exactly what we have today. A widespread failing society of rotten institutions and de facto crimes agains the American public that are swept under the rug by the ‘mainstream media.’ You’d probably even see rings of pedophiles with satanic rituals among the societal elite. Oh wait, we see that too.

Things will get better I am sure. But the last few decades will be a low-point looking back from the decades to come. A level of incompetence that is truly indistinguishable from evil.
